Our Brand Story

The original company, National Business Register, was founded in 1984 aiming to assist businesses with name protection, company formation, registered design, and trade mark services. Our highly qualified team members have over 37 years of experience in their specialist areas.

The new brand, Start.biz, was founded in 2020 when the company was acquired by Matthew Cusack and Bevan Edwards. Start.biz provides a comprehensive set of professional services to aspiring and existing business owners. To complement our in-house Compliance, Intellectual Property (IP) protection and Access to Finance offerings, we have built a trusted network with our accredited partners to make setting up, running and running a business simpler and more efficient.
